Iconic Dutch John, Utah Dam Dumpster painted above

Now, this is definitely one of the most special news I have been asked to cover, but when fly fishing cultural objects like the iconic Dutch country John Dam Dumpster are destroyed, we know we have to take a stand.

For those who are familiar with fishing around Dutchman John, Utah, you have probably seen the “sticker cap” icon located in the dam departure parking lot. The landfill was filled with glues from all over the fly fishing industry dating back decades, and even featured one of our favorites that simply said, “F * ck Flylords”, a glue that has brought us countless Instagram tags , lots of exposure and even more self-deprecating jokes.

Suppose someone just had enough, or maybe without an adhesive he did not take very kindly. Unfortunately for everyone, we will have to start anew with a new adhesive layer for fly fishing and rafting just to stick to the man!
